Gary Dean Clarke is a self-taught photographer, born in Kingston, Jamaica and currently resides in New York City. Gary holds a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from New York University (NYU), a Master of Science degree (MS) in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), and a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Political Science from the University of Rochester (U of R).  Professionally, Gary works in Information Technology and enjoys photographing his travels especially his homeland, Jamaica.  

Currently, two of Gary's images from the Black Lives Matter movement, “Two Cops” and “Never Lose...” are on display at the Chrysler Museum “Come Together, Right Now!” exhibition in Norfolk, Virginia running from October 11, 2020 to January 3, 2021. Gary was also a contributing photographer to Kúya (Summer, 2019), the Caldwell Banker Realty magazine.
