My daily morning stop while working in London: Monmouth Coffee in Covent Garden. 15 long minutes to wait until they opened but it was was well worth the wait. Seven Dials is just up the street ahead.
We were passing by Trafalgar Square on our way to the Palace of Westminster. Nelson's Column, in honor of Admiral Nelson's victory in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, stands over the square.
Bruges (Brugge) is a canal based city (like Amsterdam) and is a great place to photograph because of all its medieval architecture. We enjoyed taking a canal tour and indulged in some of the local chocolate.
