Notre Dame in Paris taken from the eastern side on the Pont de la Tournelle along the Seine River at nighttime.This Catholic cathedral opened in the year 1345. In front of Notre Dame is the Mémorial des Martyrs de la Déportation. This memorial was in memory of the 200,000 French people who were deported to Nazi concentration camps during World War II.
